Hey coin community I came across this little gem today on my last roll. I'm real new to coin grading but I was curious to know what you all thought id love to hear I have a possible ms66+ but either way I'm happy to have it. I know you can only do so much with a picture but any info on it would be very appreciated

Hope you don't mind a little critique, maybe it will help to learn how to grade your own. I've circled areas on your pix that take the grade of your coin to about an AU58. It is circulated, it will not be a MS mint state uncirculated coin. The larger circles on the reverse show discoloring from handling, hand oils, etc. Smaller circles are post mint nicks and dings. Any of these affect a grade, both sides receive a grade those grades are averaged to give the complete grade. I would say the obverse is higher than reverse but totals are AU55-58. Is a nice coin for CRHing!

oops, forgot pix

I'm not very good at grading so I can't say. However, that is a very nice early date LMC to find in a roll!

How do coins even end up like that? All my old MS coins (in Canada, this is made of solid nickel) are plucked from the ground!

Pictures too small for accurate grading. Based on what I can see, TPG's usually put these in the MS category. I can't tell from the pictures if there is enough to qualify for MS.

AU-63

NICE FIND!
