I found these Lincoln pennies, one is a 1972 yellow penny and the other is a 1974 light brown penny. Thank you

can I ask why you want these graded? is it to just learn about circulated LMC's? these are common everyday cents worth...1 cent

No special anything about these, both are well circulated, the coloring is plain environmental reactions to air, water, skin oils and other corrosives, some call tarnish, rust, just plain discoloration

Yea, why grade, these are worn, F/VF's at most?

Thank you! Yes, I'm learning about coins and just wanted your expert opinion. Wished I would have started this many years ago, it's confusing but I want to learn more.
Thanks again
Rest in Peace

Although these coins are only worth one cent, there is nothing wrong with keeping them until you find better examples.

The 1974-d cent looks like it has had a rough life or some environmental damage. As you go through rolls of pennies (officially called cents) you will see & learn how the coins age over time with circulation, handling & abuse.

Most cent picture grading guides focuses on the older wheat cents (1909-1958) but can help with grading Lincoln Memorial cents (1959-2008) - http://www.lincolncentforum.com/lin...ading-guide/

Good luck.
