I have a 1953 S Penny with an anomaly on the reverse side next to the left wheat. Asking for opinions. I googled images from this date and saw one image with a similar anomaly. There is also a possible Cud on the date itself on the #5. Let me know what you think. Thank You!

I thought you said the left wheat? But it's the right wheat. Please post the entire coin obverse and reverse. But your coin looks like it has a possible die crack. It might be a clash if we could see the entire coin!

On the reverse is a die crack. On the 5 is damage or a die chip. Cuds always include the rim.

Is it worth anything more than 1 cent with these deficiencies?

I like the area above the 5 on the date, But can't tell for sure. If you could rotate the pics to 90 and try and get better pics we might be able to see the whole coin!

Newbie234, it almost looks like the top (the line)of the 5 isn't connected.
