I found a post from a year ago about some Delaware Medals and thought I would ask about the this (see images) one as it was not pictured in the old thread. I have it in bronze also. I did just list the 70mm Medallic Art Co. Medal in E Bay about half an hour ago in a ten day auction. Scarce? Somewhat rare? I plan to list them on E Bay but would like to hear comments here. Not so much the value but the scarcity. One other Delaware medal is also shown (two images) along with the half dollar commemorative (last image). All purchased together about a year ago.

As you're likely aware, the first medal shown is Sweden's official medal for the celebration; it was advertised and sold during the celebrations in Wilmington, DE in 1938. The silver version is harder to locate than the bronze version; neither is common, but they both appear in the marketplace.

The medal just above the half dollar is Finland's official medal for the 300th anniversary. I can't tell if your medal is bronze or toned silver. (Can you confirm which?) My experience suggests it is a bit more scarce than the Swedish medal, but it does appear from time to time (for example, several have been listed on ebay over the past year and I've seen multiple in traditional medal auctions).

Hope that helps!
