I have taken it into my head to acquire 2008 models of all the 1-oz. silver bullion coins I can get. So far the Panda and Koala have found their way into my collection. And a 2008 Eagle, of course.

I'm now in the market for a Britannia, a Maple Leaf, Philharmonic, and maybe Isle of Man cat, if they will be produced this year.

Where can I find good information about such silver coins from various countries? I'd hate to miss a good one, and I can't always tell if they are still being produced, like the Gibraltar Silver Dog. (I'll be putting a posting in the Australian section about the Kangaraoo, etc.)

Any info helpful. Thanks.

Jan

Some retailers for modern silver coins are Panda America & Black Mountain Coins

Also, Coin World just came out with a new magazine called "Worldwide Coins" that features who is releasing new coins from which country every other month.
