Is that raised on the obverse and recessed on the reverse? If that is the case then some kind of punch to the reverse causing the obverse to raise - that's all I got on this one. Interesting.

Both sides are recessed.

Weight is normal. I wish I had a Mic to check to see if the extra metal went outwards (Out of round)

Looks like someone used a CAC machine to adjust cutting/ etching depth. If that be the case it wouldn't be out of round but should be slightly underweight, possibly by .15 or so which is well within tolerances for planchet weights.

The weight is normal. There is no material missing....just don't know where it went.

Found some of it. Must have got squished with something. Going to take it to work tomorrow and measure width perpendicular to the cut.
