I was looking at these and wonder why the prices are low. PF69 DCAM under $30 and PF70 DCAM under $150. With a mintage of 750,000 +/-
Thanks for your input,

Simple economics. It has to do with demand and what collectors are willing to pay. I recently purchased a 99 SBA PF69 DCAM, I paid 25 bucks for it. I thought the pice was a bit high but I have been looking for one for about a year and this is the best price I had found. I would have rather paid $20 for it. Understand that as the price goes up the demand drops off. Simple economics.

Just my opinion, but I think it's due to popularity. IMO the SBA is not a very good looking coin. The base metal is also clad so for me, I wouldn't collect it. my guess is that others feel the same way so it drives down prices. It's possible something will spark interest in SBAs and value will rise at some point.

The SBA has just never been popular, and frankly for a modern coin 750,000 isn't all that low. There almost certainly aren't 750,000 collectors of SBA's, so there are more than enough to go around. That's probably why it took the mint four years to sell that many of them.
