If anyone still doesn't believe that Chinese counterfeits are going to ruin the coin collecting hobby, PLEASE read the post by crazyb0. I believe I've purchased my last silver dollar, what's next half dollar counterfeits? Pardon me for reposting this link, but it's definitely worth sharing. http://goccf.com/t/284076

Love the description for the "Plastic or metal ring for sell" they have listed

I saw that one too. Good stuff. They really can't tell if it's metal or plastic? Quote: This ring was touched by a person that owns a jeweler and/or by a person living in a "clean" trailer park. What does that even mean?

The problem is he provided one number, but listed 40 for sale. His actual item description is ambiguous enough for the seller to have a plausible argument when a buyer inevitably has a complaint.

If you read the feedback he left for others, he's a bit of an odd duck, IMO. He probably thought it was clever to fool buyers with his dollar coin ad, but it's going to bite him in the butt, me thinks . .

Did you receive one of the dollars or just cancelled the order right away? Seems as if the guy on ebay wasn't playing with a full deck!
