Here is today's find. I can't wait to get a better detector. And a pinpointer. It would make this so much easier! The one quarter is 1966. Just shy of being silver.

I really need to break out the detector and see what happens.

Nice finds!

Cool - the clad adds up fast! I have one and one-half full quart fruit jars full of coin that I've dug and tumbled, in about two years time. Saving for a rainy day.

I am new to this. I find it surprising about how much money is just sitting on the ground. I wonder what the total is. I mean across the USA?

Welcome Nuggetlucky. Has to be a lot of coin still out there...I can go out one afternoon to some spots and cherry pick quarters half a day, pay for my gas and then some. However, as we gear more and more towards cashless spending, the new drops just don't seem to be there anymore, sad.

I have to admit I almost never use cash. I'm hoping to find old coins and jewelry anyway. I was close that time. I have to hit the history books and figure out which smallnparks have been there the longest

I'm one of the weirdos that always use cash. After having multiple cards compromised, and even our 2015 (Turbo Tax) returns hacked, it just became a pita if you know what I mean.

You are safer using real money. You are absolutely right. Maybe you should do a throughout virus scan on your home computers. I work in technology and that is one of the ways peoples information is stolen.

Also change all your passwords. Make them at least 15 characters long. Use a pass phrase so you can remember. Like M@ryH@d@L1ttl3L@mb Swap some letters for numbers and symbols. A = @, e = 3
