I have been developing an appreciation for Roman Republic coinage, particularly the types that do not have horses and a chariot as the reverse. See the link for a great write up on the type. My example retains a lot of the subtle detail of the design with a sharpy struck bull on the reverse and the image of Juno Sospita in goat headdress on the obverse.

Super coin, I also really like Roman Republic coins but haven't been any to pick up many lately. This is a really nice one with an excellent struck and details. Congrats.

Nice coin and interesting link. I haven't spent too much time over there. Thanks for sharing!
