I am referring to NGC,PCGS, and anacs. Can coins be in airtites when you mail them in to be graded? If not, what options do you have to ensure it doesn't get scratched. Thanks!

I believe they all want coins in 2.5x2.5 Saflips. No tape, no staples. If sending multiple coins, stacked with rubber bands around them. I'm sure you can include bubble wrap between them and outside them.

In my experience, ICG does not require submitted coins to be in 2.5 x 2.5 saflip holders. They even break open the slab for you if crossing a non-legitimate holder (NTC, NNC, etc.).

There are pages on each of the company's web site detailing CLEARLY how to submit. Follow their instructions.

PCGS wants the saflips or OGP when they are submitted and will return the OGP for free. NGC prefers saflips but you can send them in the capsules, but you won't get the capsules back unless you pay a fee.
