Hello everyone I like most of you lurked around in the shadows for a while until deciding to join. Although new to the group I am a life long coin collector. My passion started as a little kid sitting on my grandfathers lap adding new coins to his collection. My grandfathers collection mostly just consisted of new coins pulled from his pocket change and never any high end coins. With raising eight kids of his own he didn't have the resources necessary to afford the more desirable varieties and errors. That didn't stop us from searching for them though. So my passion naturally evolved into the hunt for the rare variety and error coins. Although I am a seasoned collector I still need help and love to learn new things about coins. I have included a picture of my most recent error that just came back from being graded from PCGS. Because post are always better with pictures!   |

I am a rare person that knows a little about counterstamped Stone Mountain Coins but not enough. I am willing to help with your Questions. I collect all kinds of counterstamped coins to include US, British & Canadian but generally not to helpful on the latter two.
