Does anyone see the tripled 7 referenced? I don't see it.

I less there 2 with an A on the cheek & upside down V on obv's I sold that an we graded it in the grading forum in early 06?

Yeah, that's it. The doubling is so far offset that you wouldn't think it possible - it's the biggest mispunch in the Morgan series. The base of the 7 is entirely offset - the whole bottom is visible to the left of the actual struck 7. The whole second upper serif of the 1 is visible. Only the tripling at the top of the 7 is mushy - I can attribute this to wear and die state, because the base of the 7 and serif of the 1 are so obvious.

I may snag this one myself.

You might have some competition on this one Dave.
I think I will let it pass. My car just died and my wife wants a new minivan. Looks like coins will have to sit on the back burner for a while.
