1921 D VAM Identification? - Coin Community Forum

casualcollector New Member United States 10 Posts	Posted 04/07/2008 2:04 pm Hello, I just had a chance to start looking through some 1921 Morgan dollars, trying to spot any obvious marks that would make it relatively easy to identify the VAM for the coin. This one stood out, but going through the pictures on the VAM website didn't help, though I'm sure its in there somewhere. I am not sure if the problems with the US of pluribus happened after the coin was minted, and would like some help. VAMworld lists this coin as a 1921-D VAM-1CP. I tried to get a good picture of the scribbling scratches and the small die scratch in the left wreath they say this coin should have.
