Found this roll searching today. Looked pretty off. Looking past the die flow, the letters look larger than what they should be. Mostly on IGWT decreasing from left to right.

I see what you mean by it being wide, but unfortunately I think that's just normal wear.

Tanman. I disagree with my fellows, I present this for your consideration. Note the red arrows point to specific details of letter shapes which match up exactly with your coin. NOW, 2nd pix has two yellow circles, I cannot determine if there is any die dots or die gouges here, this is MDS, yours could be EDS or another die. If so this is a 1970P-1DO-003

Mark1959, hey youngster, notice which pix are posted above...Coppercoins listing, pix by BobP.

Also took OP's pix and enlarged them/compared side-by-side on my screen to point out the similarities...now I gotta go dig out my 3 rolls of MS 1970P's to look for these!

(sayin' "youngster" thinking 1959 was birth year?)

Doubling looks like 1DO-003 especially on IN, but the markers are a no. A lot of die wear between the E and C.

I found another discussion about a similar coin that was thought to be 1DO-003. Markers were faint so mine could be a VLDS.

I might send this to Wexler, I was going to send some coins in soon anyway.

Also, thank you all for the help!

Tanman, is John Wexler still charging $5 a pop to look at a coin? Could get quite expensive if so...

$4 for one side being attributed. I have a couple right now that aren't on the site, wouldn't hurt to throw this one in.

Tanman can you post some closer images of LIBE and also the 1970. I am inclined to believe that it is a DDO like Crazy B said and it could very well be that this one have a different reverse die.

Did you check out 1970P-1DO-008

Well, you are right too worn to see any particular notching. I do think it is a DDO though.

CoinCents, fairly sure its not 008, none of the letters match the basic shapes of Tanman's coin. Because the revers has no mid die state markers I suspect this is an earlier die state than what is mentioned at CC for the 003. No other DDO has the thickness starting on IN and thining out as it goes around, particularly on the tips of the S in TRUST.

I just closed all my windows for this one, but yes, I do see what you are saying with the thinning.
