1969 American Dime Defect

I have this 1969 US dime with a big bump behind his head. It was not punched through from the back of the coin and it is definitely not solder or anything else poured onto the coin. Does anyone have any ideas?

Not a defect from the mint anyways. Looks like a welder damaged the coin.Also,you may want to crop your pics before posting.

Yeah, it does look like it took some high voltage.

Heat from something, I think.
