Well Mickey, ahh, what resource are you using to verify your info? Not on Wexler's or Coppercoins the only pivoted hub doubling on both sites is the 1995D-1DO-002 which shows VERY clear doubling on all letters of the motto in both mid and late dies states...I found NO references to the die dot on cheek as an attributing factor.
Unless you can 1) get a clear close up and 2) say what you think it is, according to which reference you're citing, then this will be my last response since I'm just wasting my time!

We r all human and allow room for mistakes because I'm sorry your wrong on this one and maybe its just the pictures I can see it even in the pictures you put up to match it against I can still see evey line and split the die dot on his neck you misded that as well because once again I see it sorry you feel that way and didn't mean to offend you or make you feel like your wasting your time

Quote: Gusse you don't see the die dot right on his mouth that also matches That pimple is on many cents from that era, it was on the dies and part of the design. I did an overlay of your coin with the doubled die, and the dot on the neck is not in the correct spot. It wasn't even close. Maybe some better images with less light would help us see more, but from the image provided, I don't see a doubled die.

Mickey sorry but I have to agree with the others. I don't see doubling either on your coin. I pulled my 1995D DDO out and took some pictures of my DDO for you. It is estimated that less than a hundred examples of the major 1995D DDO probably exist but keep looking, because I still check. The doubling is very clear on a true major specimen and cannot be missed under even slight magnification. Now if you think yours might be an 002 you might need to use a computer microscope to show us a clearer closeup picture. Anyway best of luck and happy hunting! My PCGS graded 1995D DDO

Don't get frustrated with taking pictures of your coins. I have a HDMI microscope that I spent good money on, but honestly I bought one of those clip on macro lenses for the camera on your phone... think I paid like $9.00 for it at Walmart and it takes a better closeup pictures than my stupid microscope does! #128557;

Mickey161, sorry you're frustrated. It can be extremely annoying to get photos that even halfway convey a coin that's sitting in front of you. Perhaps you do have a DD, in which case that is great. Unfortunately we can't see it on our end. But I hope you'll give the community another chance; most people do want to help, though the internet has a tendency to make interaction seem hostile. I also recommend the little macro lens for your phone. They do a pretty good job, though I also want to tear my hair out occasionally when my lighting gets complaints. Hang in there, and we hope you'll bring back some new photos so we can share in your excitement. =)

Hi Mickey, I agree with Oijogja - don't give up on us - I have been on this forum for just about 1 1/2 years and my images are still pretty bad - I don't have good photo equipment like a lot of the other members and I can't afford to upgrade it. The people here have been pretty patient overall, but on some of my post I have had to re-do the pictures so many times that I was going nuts. But, in doing so I have learned how to get some better photo's with what I've got. Hope to see more posts from you :)
