This nickel has in the obverse a mark like if a dime spin on top and erase some of the letters(like a circle form the size of a dime, and at the same time stamped something on the obverse and the reverse. On the reverse looks kind like an ear.
I agree with spruett. I call those thundercat coins. Because the damage on the reverse reminds me of the old cartoon Thundercats emblem! It's very common.
