In this condition the 1900 is about $2-3 and the 1888 is probably closer to $5-6.

I suggest that the 1900 with that "buried" color is worth perhaps 75 cents, and the '88 little more given what seem to be pitted surfaces. Better pics may help.

Better pictures would help, though those seem to be along the lines of common date Indians.

$1-2 for the 1900 and $4 for the 1888.

I don't see what is "red" about this coin. As far as I know, "red" when describing cents means that it is a shiny, BU sample with a tint of redness to it. This coin looks 100% circulated and brown to me.

ruby and these Indian hand cents would be worth somewhere around $8 in total retail in my opinion.

At most coin shows and many shops, this pair in seemingly good condition, can be purchased for $4 or less. This assumes that the 1888 is not the overdate, 1888/7. There are catalog values, and there are "real" market values.

to the CCF, Ruby.

I've seen other early cents, bearing that reddish hue, over the years. It's a discoloration, due to some form of environmental exposure. It doesn't much devalue this low-priced coin though. A close-up pic would be needed to see if that 1888 is the rare overdate - a possibility, but unlikely.
