I found this one in a lot I bought from a local bank. First time seeing one causing a bulge. What's this type of error called besides a die crack? Thanks

My first guess is it was heated causing the bubble. I do not see a die crack.

I agree, it was in a fire or heated. Still worth a buck, if you can spend it.
