Somewhat Bizarre Rexall Medal

I'm sure the swastika (with arms pointng counter to the Nazi type) was meant as a "good luck" symbol, but I still imagine that it's there at all indicates that this predates Hitler and his party's rise to power in the 1930's.

The Buddha-like figure holding a horseshoe {which by popular convention is oriented in the wrong direction, incidentally) is also a bit strange.

Size is a bit over 32mm in diamster.

The "Buddha" is most likely a Billiken, a good luck figure that dates to the early 1900s. It is a bit obscure, the only reason I recognize it is the fact that I live in St. Louis and the mascot for St Louis University is the Billiken.
