The raw coin has fingerprints, scratches, and shows some were.
The price difference is enormous.
Grade can make a coin worth thousands of dollars or just a few cents. This is why knowing a little about grading coins can not only save you money, it can make you money.

Also, there's a black spot in the E.

If I found the second coin, I'd be happy enough with it. But I wouldn't buy it.

One of these recently sold on ebay for $19.69 with free shipping.

BUT, if you could get one that graded just one point higher, at MS-67, NGC has the list price as $3000.00.
That's why a coin's grade can make a big difference in what it's worth.

Asking much more than market value in that coin.
And....once a coin is circulated it is no longer a pristine example.
