While it's not in my Krause, I can sort of read it...
Ukraine, 1 Hrivniya, 2005. Obverse may say "Vladimir Velikiy"
Please correct me...my Russian is bad, and my Ukrainian is worse!

Kurt is correct. It is a 1 Hryvnia coin from Ukraine (KM#209). The guy on the reverse of the coin is Volodimir Veliky. The coin composition is Aluminum-Bronze.

"Veliky" apparently means "the Great". Vladimir the Great was the first Christian king of the Kievan Rus', a proto-Russian nation centred on Kiev, in what is now the Ukraine.

The Ukrainian coat of arms is the prominent feature on all Ukrainian coinage. The thing on the shield, which sort-of looks like a trident or winged sword, is the tryzub, an old symbol of the Ukraine, variants of which were used by the rulers of Kiev dating back to Vladimir the Great.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
