A man found a bunch of old coins in an outside wash line pole. Lots of Walker halves and they did a nice close-up of a 1936 quarter.

That is cool. I always wonder about folks who find stuff like that and go on the news or paper with it. I'd be worried about giving my real name the wrong type might get interested....

On the other hand.....they used to shoot ya for a pair of Nike Air Jordans that you were wearing.......and the price of gas these days......

Thanks for the story, it's things like this that keep me hunting with my metal detector. I found 24 coins in one hole just yesterday, too bad they were all modern cents. I posted the story under the "Metal Detecting Finds" forum.
