I just picked up 100 plus pounds of wheat pennies, most of which are rolled by date and mint. I have a lot of rolls of common dates and am thinking about selling off some of the duplicates. What is a reasonable price to charge? Do the coins sell better rolled by date or should I just roll the rest of these as I pull them out of the bags?
Probably would get a little more than 4-5 cents apiece if you make partial sets and sell them that way. Both mixed rolls and loose wheats are running 4-5 cents apiece.
Most places you can 3-5 cents for them. It depends on where you go, coin shows or coin shops. My coin shop just takes my bags of wheats dumps them in the counter and gives me 3-4 cents a peice
