I have a so called block of the new 5 dollar bills. They are all in sequential order. Is there a premium to these or no?

Yeah, definitely. I'm not sure how much of a premium you'd get, but you would definitely get one

New sequential notes are nothing all too special. It's only really of a redeeming value if the notes are very old.

In my opinion, if you can afford to save them, then save them. If you can't then there is no harm in spending them. If I could afford to purchase a block I would in a heartbeat.

At many of the major coin shows that I go to I see blocks of new notes trading at modest premiums.
