this is my most recent buy..i think it was a steal for the price considering how hard it is to find this coin in ultra heavy cameo, I was going to post it as a you VS. ICCS but I can't get good enough images. this is a real stunner in hand and the pics don't do it justice.

thank you very much Papeldog I'm very proud to have this piece.

the 1953 SF quarters are a bit easier to find in cameo-ultra heave cameo, they are also the easiest to find in PL..still, MS-65 heavy cameo is quite the coin and i'd love pics, I bet she's a real beauty

the 1953 NSF halves seem to be an interesting issue..unlike other high relief(NSF) 1953 denominations, cameo and heavy cameo examples are fairly common, but for ultra heavy cameo, I have only seen a literal handful recorded in past auctions and online.

I agree 1953 was a very good year to find Cameo - Heavy Cameo coins and like you mention the Ultra Heavy Cameo's are much harder to find and to find any in MS-65 is a real treasure as these weren't meant to be perfect coins in business strikes.
Here's some picture's of my 25 cent coin as requested but I only have a scanner so pictures don't look as nice as in hand its kind of a purplish to dark in colour one of my fav's for sure.
