Interesting Doubling Of 1893 5c Date.

Both appear with similar frequency and neither are particularly rare. This is a beauty and even if it has hairlines, it deserves a hard slab. For value, I'd say 2x Trends multiplier. I bought the following 1893 ICCS MS-65 in the Landon auction. Doubling in both the date and the lettering of 'cents'. Report this Post to the Staff
pfrien Valued Member Canada 127 Posts	Posted 04/16/2017 11:25 am I had a closer look at the coin, and I am not sure if this is real doubling or ridges on the dates from being repunched with minimal overlap.
