There must be several varieties of doubling on the 1893 5 cent although I see only two in the Charlton guide. I bought the following 1893 ICCS MS-65 in the Landon auction. Doubling in both the date and the lettering of 'cents'.
I had a closer look at the coin, and I am not sure if this is real doubling or ridges on the dates from being repunched with minimal overlap. Regardless, the '3' has been mangled from the process. Any ideas?
