Hi Everyone, can anyone tell if this is a lamination error on reverse? Or DD on Obverse? The date seems to have skinny and thicker digits. I have a other coins I just purchased that I am looking to sell, but dobt know enough abt them. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

1. 1888 o Morgan dollar (looks like the "O" is double stamped
2. 1804 Dollar coin
3. X2 British and French Trade Dollara

Well once I saw in your list of coins you bought that there is an 1804 Dollar, I am assuming it is not legitimate due to the fact that there are only a handful of them known. That coin will always be fake unless proven not-fake. Also on the Seated dollar the date looks very real and I am going to saw it isn't real either. Sorry :( but welcome to the forum!

That coin is 100% fake. I am sorry to hear that you were gypped. I hope that you didn't pay too much for all of that. The 1804 is also a definite fake and the others are suspect by association.

I have seen a lot of fake Seated dollar on the bay lately, its too much to list it on the counterfeit section. I see a lot of new collectors get rip off by these fakes, and profiteer thinking they got a great deal on these.

The 1862 is a BAD fake, probably an old one. The 1804 dollar has a 99.99999999% chance of being a fake, and their are a lot of fake British and French Trade dollars out there as well. Considering the other fakes the chances on the British and French pieces are not good.

Jessica, if you bought them on ebay, you can contact ebay and report that you've received counterfeit coins. I believe ebay buyer protection should cover you. If you bought it from another source, well, it'll depend on what the source is.
