I found this the other day while roll hunting, and just set it aside until I was done with all of the JFKs. Is this an RPM? And does the second pic look like a double die? There is what looks to me like Strike Doubling on most of the other lettering, but this didn't look like your typical Strike Doubling. I also have had little experience with Franklins, so any help is appreciated.

The only Franklin error or type are 1955 Bugs bunny 1956 Type 1 & 2 but proof you 1961D/D 1956 type 1 off the top of head that's the only ones I can remember.

Well, there are way more then that, '48 & '48d DDR, '49s RPM, '51s DDR, '53s RPM, '55 die clash, '57d RPM, and '59 DDR. Those are just the ones in my cherrypicker guide, minus the proof errors.

Adding to MorganNoobs post, there are many nice Doubled Dies on Franklins including a decent 1963 DDR.

In any case, both of the above pictures show Machine Doubling.

Thanks,
Bill
