nss-52 Moderator United States 54283 Posts	Posted 04/19/2017 7:05 pm I wanted to see if ebay seller w.green has been mentioned in CCF before, but search gives me 40 pages of result, both with "match exact phrase" and "search for all words". If I put the search therm in quotes "w.green" it returns an error. I guess I shouldn't do that. Report this Post to the Staff

Google search gives me "About 544 results (0.79 seconds)" for w.green, most of which are just "green". I get 6 results if I put quotes around w.green ("w.green"), one of which is this topic [but this now answers my query about whether w.green has been posted about before here]. Apparently search engines don't like periods. Report this Post to the Staff
kanga Pillar of the Community United States 5825 Posts	Posted 04/22/2017 2:48 pm I know on ebay the search only works with numbers and letters. Special characters are treated as blanks. If you want to find an MS-64 coin you need to use this (ms64,"ms 64") Yes, include the parentheses. Report this Post to the Staff
