I have noticed that there are a few threads around on the women of Rome. I thought that this coin was worthy of sharing here.
The coin is common enough but this is a nice sharpexample with lots of silvering remaining. It is patchy in some areas on the obverse which isn't attractive but an overall pleasing coin.
These come with a plain hairstyle as shown here or with a more elaborate hairstyle with a plait pulled up over the head.
