I was about to make a coin ring out of a walking liberty. I spotted an error. raised portions from the foot to the space between the r and f. there are seven bumps in all. The 2 up near the head show what appears to be a crack in the die. All the marks are raised, it looks like the die was about to have a catastrophic failure. I could be wrong, but I believe this is a major error. I don't have any pics to show,but I should get setup soon. Any info would help, and I know making rings out of coins is sacrilege. I try not to use anything rare.
