I know the picture isn't going to do much justice and I have not had time to get down there to look in person yet but thoughts? I am pretty skeptical about authenticity but am not an expert by any means. Only picture they have up on the site currently. If I can get down there in the next few days I should be able to take better pictures.

They are going up for sale at a reputable local auction company next week but there have been times where I explained that coins were fake to them.

If this is in the wrong forum I apologize in advance.

No need to apologize..

However, we will probably need better pictures to have opinion.
Rest in Peace

I've done quite a few auctions, both sides. That's a lotta Seated Libs to be in one auction! That alone and none slabbed! is a big, big red flag to me. Think I saw an 1878 Trade in there, those are indeed notorious fakes, got one meself!

Just looked again...ah, ha,ha,ha...even a "hogmouth"! And unpeso's too! Offer $10 for the lot, once you know the fakes, a real one is hard to miss!

All of those coins are known fakes, they're not even silver. When you go, bring a magnet and you'll walk home with all the coins.

We'll definately need better photos, but I'd say you're right to be sceptical

An absolutely laughable Lot of fakes. Sure wish something could be done about this stuff. I mean REALLY done.

Thanks everyone. Probably not even worth the trip downtown to take pictures then.. but I should give the auction house the heads up in case.

Pacificcoin - Hey Jack these are at Kilshaws if it matters.

Not that it matters , but Kilshaws should know better. What a joke. They sure gave gone downhill since Don Sold out.
I used to do coin evaluations for them back in the day.
