I found this penny and you can see it going through most of the coin. It is raised up from the surface as well. Also notice that it doesn't affect the date at all. Is this a type of error?
It's hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like a die crack if it is raised. Can you get a closer photo, with a little more light, and crop it close?
It's what is called a linear plating bubble. Gas has been trapped between the copper layer and zinc blank. If you press hard it will most likely collapse. looks too wide for a die crack.
