The description of this forum reads: "Discuss coins from England, Northern Ireland, and Scotland here" when perhaps it should read "Discuss coins from England, Scotland and pre-partition Ireland under the English Realm".

To add to my original post, why specify Northern Ireland coins in the descriptive title of this forum when to my knowledge no such coins have ever been issued - certainly in the pre-decimal period which would only cover 50 years since Irish partition (1921-1971). Somebody please correct me if I am mistaken.
