In the past, I've bought some rarer graded NCLT off the bay or Heritage. Only recently, (since Trudeau), have many of my purchases been stop at Canada Customs for duties. Thoughts everyone ... will current trade hostilities lead to more costs/difficulties importing coins?
As a Canadian, importing coins from the US I don't think we will be affected. I just received a number of items purchased off Amazon.com, none came with any kind of duty or tax.
I could be wrong but I don't think PM Trudeau is at the border looking to stop rare coins entering Canada because he doesn't get along with President Trump.
Onecad, that wasn't what I was suggesting. However, I do believe the new administration is enforcing tax laws at the border more often to generate revenues.
Forget about trade laws, how about the start of trade wars, in two weeks milk, yesterday softwood lumber, never know what's next. What is NAFTA or any other trade agreements ?
