The nice feature with Euro notes is that the different denominations are all different sizes. For blind people it makes it easier to know what you are spending and getting back in change.

"Pedeset Eura", let me guess that's Slovakian?

The prefix is 'X' so if I know my letters right it's printed in Germany, like most of these notes.

No, the €50 banknote in the above picture is a ''Series 1'' note. Therefore, the prefix ''X'' means that the note was ordered by (or made for) the Bundesbank in Germany. However, that does not necessarily mean it was printed in Germany. You can find the printer code right above the hologram (front, right side). The letters for the printer codes differ from the ''order codes.''
See: NZB Kennung https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurobanknoten

The €20 note in the picture in a note from the ''Second Series'' known as ''Europe Series.'' Here, the prefix indeed indicates where the note was printed. ''M'' = Portugal
For the Europe Series, it is not possible to recognize which National Central Bank ordered the note (for which NCB they were made).
