The packaging is all equal sized pliofilm squares - is that how the RCM is packaging those sets now? If so - it is a neat error, but worth no where near that asking price...

Its the first time that I've seen it like that. The NHL quarter that is thrown into this set is pretty cool.

I agree however I am sure that someone somewhere will toss a couple of hundred bucks at it. Personally, I have no interest in packaging errors.

Some of the best Canadian errors barely reaches 5000.00, how some expect a packaging mistake to be worth any where near the asking price, but someone paid 20,000 for the first two 2005 p cents that are worth about 2000 today

These wrong coin error sets were very scarce prior to 2016 with maybe 8 sets at the most from 1961 to 2015. The 2015 loone dollar in a 2016 set killed the wrong coin in a set market. On a good day if he gets $3-$500 for it, my advise is take the money and run. But still a very cool set. I'v been watching like a hawk on what errors there going to make for the 150 year production and I think were due for a MULE.

Is this an error or just another of the myriad RCM products?

Maybe my 2008 UK Royal Mint BU set with two Olympic Games centenary £2 coins (instead of one and a normal £2) is worth something?

Quote: I'v been watching like a hawk on what errors there going to make for the 150 year production and I think were due for a MULE. I like your style, there are already two different obverses for each denomination and 3 for the quarter. With RCM's track record the odds might be in our favor. I haven't seen anyone mention this one, 2017 glow in the dark twoonie with full struck through obverse. Must have come from a set because I don't think they've released the GITD version to the public yet. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2017-CANADA-...391743515210

This toonie is struck through something so how can it be a ms66, a 2500.00 error?
