I believe this he's referring to the member titles. So far, except for Forum Mom, Forum Dad, and Moderator, we only have Valued Member and Pillar of the Community. We probably should give some thought to adding to the titles.

I have a card that reads
Numismatologist.
Is that classy enough?

Was it painful or did you get some GREAT drugs to take with it? I may have one of those myself as everything seems to be falling apart at the same time. Some of my hurts are now hurting as well!
Got very heavy snow today and now HIGH winds. Looks like this area is shut down for a few days and I will be digging out Bobwhite Quail tomorrow. Poor little guys just won't get in out of the snow!!! They are smart enought to get in out of the rain but thats about it as they will covey up and let the snow bury them alive!!! I also just purchased $300 worth of adult Chukars just yesterday and if I lose them to this mess I will be real upset with Ma Nature!!! Hey, maybe we could get Mother Nature on a commemorative coin or at least a circulating one and she might then back off a bit? I know in my sick mind she is one great looking gal so the coin would go over great with the guys!!!

I believe you are right on track as to what TKC is requesting. IMHO what we have at present is adequate.Introduction of snazzy titles or stars based on number of posts has negative effects.

Anyway, those who want to add such titles can do so as it is on their signature lines.

Perhaps a few of us can add in the "AOD" or "Knight of the Coin Table" there....[:p]

I agree with you Lim. It was because I didn't want people posting just to increase their numbers that I only had a couple of titles. If the members feel that they want something more, I'm certainly open to input, but unless there is an overwhelming majority who want this, I'll probably just keep it as it is.

A very sound suggestion, and one that most of us can live with I'm sure.

If somebody want's a title fine. Can we settle for no title? I spent a career getting rid of a title. This antique wouldn't have signed in with Mike and his day of birth and the year without the month if someone wasn't already attached to Mike. If I wanted something more than Hey You or Mike.

At 1868 posts I am Master of Stock Proctology

At 486 posts I am a three star Routinier

At a forum I stopped visiting after 330 posts I am registered user

The only thing that irks me is people running up their counter by posting smileys or saying yes or whatever other cheap means to make next category
Because let's face it there are people with a 1000 posts on any forum that never said anything worth reading

In a way the post counts are a title. Adding fancy names might intimidate those who are new to coin collecting. And tempt those who aren't new to coin collecting but new to the board with a tree to mark.
