Identify Asian (?) Coin/Token - Coin Community Forum

Fubini New Member Germany 2 Posts	Posted 05/01/2017 4:45 pm Hello everyone. I would like to have some help to identify this coin/token/etc. It is 20mm in diameter, 1.5mm thick and weights 5g. I was not able to identify the writing yet. Is it even a coin? I'd appreciate every kind of help. Report this Post to the Staff

Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 05/01/2017 10:27 pm The pix of reverse may be an Island country, writing has hints of Burmese/Siamese/Thai...hummmm Sure it's not a coin, but a token, tourist most likely, only island that shape is close to Crete, script Minonian? Fubini New Member Germany 2 Posts	Posted 05/02/2017 05:22 am Thanks for your warm welcome! I've already been thinking that it could be Nepal, but Isn't the outline on the coin too "slim" for that? The signs look quite similar, but I can't find too much "similar symbols" on the first look. Maybe I'll have a further look into that. What could the eagle/falcon (?) be carrying on the other side?
