I just found this one,and immediately thought it was plated. So I weighed it and it weighs 4.893g.So I don't think it's plated. Any thoughts? Thanks for any advice!

Maybe an electro plating disaster, maybe just ugly toning. Doubt any premium.

Yeah something post mint. Because I just opened the roll right behind this roll and another one! 2015 though and it weighs 5.01g.

I think there's more to this nickle. I just found one identical to this one except it's a 2006 D. I thought it was the same one till I looked at the date. I also noticed that it is smaller, in thickness and circumference.

If it were struck on a cent, then the devices would fall over the edge of the coin:

And also would be the same weight as a cent. 3.1 grams.
