Your coin strikes me as a fantasy piece. What tests have you done to it?

Specific gravity is a good place to start.

if you need info

To me the design elements are too fragmented for the wear on the coin. There are people here who could tell you at a little more than a glance if this is real but I guess they have not seen it yet.

The piece is a modern imitation. It is a toy/tourist shop-type cast replica of a 1580s-ish Lima mint 4 Reales.

Yet another instance of someone salting a site to mess w/the metal detectorist types, knowing that they will then run here, to TNet, etc. all hopped up thinking they uncovered real reale genuine pirate treasure booty............... The only thing more despicable than these pranksters are those $&%$&$!! grandmas who are notorious for leaving pieces like this, the ubiquitous 1736 8 Escudos, the die crack 1760 pillar 8R, etc. next to their 1970s costume brooches in their jewelry boxes, having quite the chortle from the great beyond.
