I am thinking about purchasing this 1931-S Lincoln Cent. I would like your opinion ! I only need 3 more Lincoln cents to complete my collection. 1909-S VDB, 1914-D, & 1931-S. I am fairly new to this great forum, I value your opinions. Thank you all.

mcshilling, sorry these two photos are the only ones the seller has. I wanted to know if XF 45, graded by PCGS is a solid company, & what it is worth ?

Suggest you find something with better eye appeal - what is your budget amount for a 1931-S Cent?

Agree there is something on the reverse that looks like a scratch. Also, it looks like there might be some sort of discoloration in the right obverse field. to the CCF!

Looked on the PCGS website. No photos available. PCGS itself says that this could should go for around $130, but I doubt that based on the reasons listed above.

never buy the holder...buy the coin and in this case you cant see enough details to determine if it is in fact a solid XF45 without issues. the obverse looks 45 but no way to tell the reverse if the seller cant send you better pics I would move on. there are plenty of these available on the market.

Why do sellers try to sell coins that we can't see? Seriously, I don't get it.
