I know this is not the best looking coin but I was wondering if it was a VAM and if so what #. Thank you for any assistance.

Without the coin in hand and/or a few more close up clear shots hard to tell but I'd call it a possible 7. The O is leaning to the right, that much is pretty clear with a blow-up shot.

Cool, I pretty new to VAMing but I start by IDing the mint mark first (for ones that have variety). Once I'm sure I've got the right mark get your date down (doubling, overs, etc) then start looking for chips, breaks, polish marks. That is how I do it anyway.
