Nice find.. the lines near the head look to be part of the memorial.. not sure about the ones by the date.. I'm sure one of the clash overlay experts will give you a professional full service evaluation :) congrats!!

Yep, that is a nice die clash - Congratulations.

Could this be a double clash? I see 2 levels behind the head.

Looks like a triple clash to me. I think that's three sets of bays behind his head. Nice one!
The lines in front of the coat look more like die scratches to me. The lines at the head are part of the building.

CM - It is hard to tell if they are raised or incuse from the photo, but it is not unusual to have 1 line down there and if this is a triple clash as you mentioned then that would explain it.

greott71 - I think it would be worth it for you to contact MadDieClashes and see about getting it attributed and listed. It is not common to find a triple clash.

Other experts will chime in on your post as well and help out.

That is one of my images. I recognize the border. I'm probably the only one who puts borders on my images.

This could have happened on the first clash or a second one later and the third mark may have been from a bounce. The clash may have been all at once or several events that happened to the die during the same clash. Hard to say for sure, but they look like the die was rotating a bit causing the issue. They all look about the same also. So I'm thinking it was caused by the one same event, but with the die rotating causing the to appear. (just my gut feeling)

Neither. It is a clash that caused the marks on the fields. They dies may have altered position on the machine (rotating them a bit) from the clash. The die is normal with clash mark damage on it. The clash marks were probably removed later by a die polishing.
