Hello! I'm new here but I have an older coin and I was wondering if it was real to begin with. It would also be nice to know the mint of the coin I tried to do some reaserch online but I'm new to this so I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Anyway I would appreciate all the help I could get.

Looks like a copy cast in bronze. Is there a seam on the edge of the coin?

I agree the coin isn't real. A genuine example is silver, this looks bronze. The details are soft and shallow, not so on a genuine example.

@KOL, first welcome to CCF. Second, too bad about this first post. Do you have any other coins to share?

Well that's a bit of a bummer but I'm glad to get some answers at least. I inherited this coin and am not much of a collector of coins from that time frame, I have a lot of new coins from all around the world from my travels(not worth much) they are meaningful to me however. I greatly appreciate the feedback back, mabey one more thing what is the coins worth? Thanks all for your time

As a fake, unfortunately it has zero value.
