Hi!. I have 2 1970 S pennies. That look different to me. Does anyone else see any difference? Also, a 1946 S penny. Is the S on that normal? And thank you in advance for your feedback. It's greatly appreciated.

The top 1970-S looks like it may be a small date. Can you post closeups of the dates on those?

The Two Cents are different due to the die used, wear, how good the strike was, etc.
Edit: completely forgot about the date sizes, the bottom is deifinitely a large date and the top would need better pictures to make a judgement.

The 1946 s cent I believe has the sans serif s on it

In 1970 they changed the design slightly (most notably on the date). Hard to tell from these pics but you might have one of each from that year. Also, the last one, it's hard to tell from that distance what you might be seeing.
Rest in Peace

When I expanded your pix, both are Large date 1970S's. The bottom one appears to be over polished, the neck area has been polished away, cant tell if anything else.

I thought the 7 has to be even with the 9 and the 0

Yep, that's a large date (low 7). Dang, I was rooting for you!

Good-Evening-Everyone.-I-Have-Pennies-That-I-Have-Questions-About.

Aside from the position of the 7, look at the differences in the loop of the 9 and where it ends on each. The Small Date 9 will curl to a more horizontal point than on the Large Date.

@Alex

No rules broken. As long as the original source is credited (as you did), then it's all good!

P.S. I get lazy sometimes about giving credit... The pic I posted is from PCGS (cropped).
