This is in a 1973 Proof set I got today.

The reverse appear to be slightly rotated. Not sure how much.

With obverse oriented the way it is in photo the reverse presents this way.

1973-S-Jefferson-Nickel-Proof..rotated-Reverse.

Any guesses on the rotation angle?

Without spending too much time on it, it looks to be in the 25-30° CCW range.

I'm not sure but, I think that's outside of Mint tolerance for business strikes. It being on a proof is just that much more unique.

Thanks Spruett. I was thinking around 25 to 30 degrees as well.
