Came across this at work the other day now it does look like there is some doubling but I cannot find any reference to a 1979 Double die penny anywhere.

Your photo looks like a scan and I can't tell anything. Where do you see doubling? And just FYI, it is doubled die not double die.

Yes it is a scan and I am seeing it at the top mostly on the N and the W.
